into a game, something that most gamers were expecting after playing Max Payne.

There is not much info on the story currently available but it runs pretty much parallel to Reloaded (the sequel to the original Matrix movie which is expected to hit the screens somewhere around May 2003). So don't be surprised if you find many of the missions from the game familiar to some plots from the movie.

So what exactly is Enter the Matrix? It is a third person action adve nture game that draws on the best parts of the Wachowski brothers' incredibly rich and mind-bending sci-fi universe who confused the mind of millions around the globe. The game boasts of an incredible graphics engine that re-creates the fantastic world of the matrix. Enter the Matrix has something called Focus, similar to the bullet time of Max Payne.

We saw how Neo and company pulled off absolutely amazing stunts without breaking into sweat and Focus will allow you to do that at the touch of a key. To sum it all, Enter the Matrix is all about cool butt kickin' action that will keep the gamers glued to their seats.
At the moment Enter the Matrix is being developed for the PC (thank God) as well as for the consoles and Shiny has confirmed that all platforms will have the same version of the game. The game will hit the shelves on May 15th (the same day Matrix: Reloaded hits the screens, in the US) and at this instance only the developers know how will it be? Till then lets cross our fingers and get ready to take that red pill..
