Flight Plan Review
Synopsis: Air travel has experienced some turbulence of late.
Wednesday's tense landing-gear malfunction on a flight from Los Angeles to New York came on the heels of two airlines filing bankruptcy.
Now, adding insult to injury, there's the airborne Panic Room, also known as Flightplan. This B-list thriller portrays air crews as inept, at best, and callous and cruel at worst.
A claustrophobic, Hitchcockian thriller. A bereaved woman and her daughter are flying home from Berlin to America. At 30,000 feet the child vanishes and nobody admits she was ever on that plane. |
