Synopsis: Donna (Gwyneth Paltrow) has high hopes for the future and dreams of living the glamorous life. After catching a glimpse of a former flight attendant (Candice Bergen) who has made it to a posh life. Donna decides to sign on with a local airline, and begin a life for herself.

Donna dreams of becoming a first class international flight attendant, and is willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that her dreams come true. Stuck at the bottom with her two friends (Christina Applegate and Kelly Preston), Donna attempts to better herself and applies to Royalty Airlines, the finest airline of them all.

There she is explained the finer points of oxygen masks, disgruntled passengers and airline procedures by John Whitney (Mike Myers).

Soon, "the world's best flight attendant," Sally Weston (Candice Bergen), takes Donna under her wing and helps her achieve her dream. Despite all her success in the sky. Donna yearns for the guy she left behind, Ted (Mark Ruffalo).
